From its beginnings, the event brought communities together through shared faith and musical expression. It has also provided an important platform for emerging Christian artists, offering them opportunities to develop their talents and reach wider audiences.
This vision was guided and supported by Honorary President Fran Hanson, whose leadership helped shape the jamboree’s early direction and growth.
Over time, the event has continued to evolve but remains rooted in gospel music and community fellowship.
